    My new POS

Post by redheddude222 on Sat Nov 20, 2010 12:48 am

Picked this bad boy up for $300. Needs a windshield, starter, basic tune-up, and probably more. I don't know if it runs yet, I need a starter to find out, lol. Should be picking one up and taking a whack at starting it tomorrow sometime.

Tried to start it today using the recommended method on rx7club.com. After over 30 minutes of cranking, it still doesn't start. I didn't have time to check fuel pressure or spark, but I should be able to mess with it more tomorrow.

Nope, I don't own a 240. I may take a whack at sliding around in the FC though.

how did the car not start right away... I don't get it? That's good 2-cycle oil. That's what RX-7s take right?...

Stuck my phone in the tank and took a pic to see how bad it is. It's going to Mid-City Radiator tomorrow to get boiled out.

I plan on just dailying it for now, but I think it's impossible to own a sports car and not want to do something to it.

1.3 liter the way mazda measures it (as a 2 cycle), but 2.6 liters if you listen to most drag racers that hate rotaries. :p There's no denying it's a sports car though. 2 door, turbocharger, awesome handling, lightweight, and a high pricetag new. It was a sportscar in its day.
